The UCO Bank project by UCO SDG Company Limited
The UCO Bank project by UCO SDG Company Limited aims to manage used cooking oil (UCO) collected from households, hotels, and other sources to support the production of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), an environmentally friendly fuel for the aviation industry. This project aligns with the BCG (Bioeconomy, Circular Economy, and Green Economy) and SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) Economic Model.
Designed to be versatile and adaptable, UCO Bank can integrate into various businesses and locations to address the challenges of used cooking oil. The project is symbolized by CSR, BCG, SDGs, and Carbon Credit principles, making it broadly compatible with the needs of diverse organizations. UCO Bank’s primary project can be adjusted or expanded to fit the specific needs of relevant businesses or organizations.
The collaboration within the UCO Bank project creates an extensive and efficient network for managing used cooking oil at the community level, including hotels, restaurants, tourist destinations, industrial plants, and food processing industries. The project also encompasses promoting research and development in educational institutions and communities to support sustainable advancement.
Launched on August 1, 2023, UCO Bank’s objective is to address the issues arising from the disposal of old cooking oil that is not biodegradable and to support the production of sustainable fuel for the aviation industry.
